osCommerce Contribuion problem - I posted to the forum, got a good reply, but it has some data I'm confused by. I tried posting a reply to question, but haven't heard back yet, and hope someone here can help. Here's a of the postings, if you can..

Hi - I'm very close to selecting the shopping cart to use for our product. I
know PHP and have done a few websites with it, have worked with MySQL once
or twice (know nothing off the top of my head, however), so I want PHP.
I've got it down to osCommerce, Zen Cart, or CubeCart, all of which are free
installs from my web host (Lunar Pages). Looks like e-onlinedata will
provide merchant account and gateway.
Can anyone who has gone this way before give me any advice on which to
choose? I like easy-to-configure, without me needing to be a wiz-boy with
PHP, yet still like being able to, in necessary, get down to a level that
allows me to adjust most anything to do with the look and feel of the
shopping cart. I like quick-to-get-up-and-running. I like lots of available
help (forums with lots of other users). These 3 shopping carts probably
differ in their strengths on all these points.
Would greatly appreciate any recommendations or useful info on these three
options.

tons of online support on the OSC forums as well as user contributions
to enhance it. Basically there is tons of support for it. My site is
setup for instant downloads and it runs totally automatically. All I
have to do is count the $$$. I could put you in touch with my
programmer if you'd like, he's cheap. (from India)

My programmer uses www.authotrans.com ,
His website is www.gemwebdev.com .
I would email him and ask about the authotrans shopping cart. He
programs using MySQL, PHP, and ASP.
