Anyone had problems summiting a URL at
http://www.dmoz.org/

I have been trying for two days, at best I can sometimes get to the submit
form and the site freezes.
Anyone else submitted recently?
Thanks
John

Day before yesterday - Details filled in, submit button clicked,
hourglass took its name literally. They have had similar problems
frequently. But we don't know whether the details got through and it was
a problem with the confirmation, or whether it froze before details got
through. They don't like multiple submissions so if we resubmit and the
details did get through they may blacklist the site. Wish Google would
just dump dmoz.

It has been *very* slow of late, even on my ADSL connection. Then again,
when _isn't_ it slow?

It does appear to be the lesser of the available evils.

Same here Ste, progress bar freezes half way through, even when left for a
couple of mins.
I have re-submitted a few times because I am presuming if I don't get
re-directed to a confirmation page they have not received details.
I hope this is the case or I will be blacklisted Sad

You will not get blacklisted. There's an outfit that repeatedly resubmits
their already listed customer sites to all the wrong categories and they are
not blacklisted.

Yes, but not just recently. I've found it very temperamental for the last
half a year or so ...
