Post subject: Can't see anything in my network places
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

When I try to edit my web (on my Intranet in a Windows
2000 SBS-environment) I don't se any icons. For example
when I'm trying to add a hyperlink I can't se the file I
want to link to. I see all the files in the left
navigation pane but not in the dialog box that appears. I
also can't see any files if I create an ordinary network
place using the built in guides. What have I done wrong?
Is it my server or is it on the clients (clients running
Windows XP and Windows 2000)?

Thanks!

Niklas

I think you're talking about using FrontPage here, not IIS itself.
Try the FrontPage news groups for help on this.

Actually it doesn't seem to be just Frontpage, because
same clients can access other servers and can see all
information. Also I can't see anything when I create
a "Network Place" using Windows built-in guides.
Therefore I guess it's not just a FP problem.

I just don't know what's wrong.

Thanks anyway!
