Hi

I have mysql 3.23 that came with RH9. Now I want to replace it by
MySQL-server-4.1.9-0.i386.rpm from mysql.

I downloaded it in /root/dnlds/ and d-clicked on it in the file browser. The
installation starts and when it says "reading individual package header" it
shuts down. Why ?

How can I install this new version ?

(Yes I know it's kind a dumb but I'm a rookie you know !! Wink )

Thanks

This is much better and improves your chance to get qualified feedback
from newsgroups.
