I am putting (basically, for now)a free email server on line, but will need
some way to pay the bills and compensate for the time i will spend
developing the website. I need all suggestion and ways to make some kind of
income from the server (other than affiliate programs, SPAM, and get a job).
Obviously i am not interested in selling any products either. I would
especially appreciate any pointer to sites that provide the info you
suggest.

regards

Howdy Stewart,

Think about it a bit. You posted your message from basically a free E-Mail
account and everyone getting started gets shoved at hotmail. Where are you
going to find thousands of people that want yet another free E-Mail address?

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.hotmail.com" target="_blank">www.hotmail.com</a> started out as an independent company offering free E-Mail
accounts many years ago. Microsoft buying them out cheap should tell you
something.

It only takes one person that gets busy sending bulk E-Mail to put your IP
number in all the spam blocking lists. Then you've got all of your accounts
complaining. Lot's of fun {grin}.

If you hit <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://bizymail.net" target="_blank">http://bizymail.net</a> you'll see I've experimented a bit with this.

You make money on the Internet by having your own products or services that
sell well with a minimum of competition.

Thanks, Chris <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.bizynet.com" target="_blank">www.bizynet.com</a> and <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.bizycart.com" target="_blank">www.bizycart.com</a>

Oh, Chris - you make it sounds like it happens automatically.

I'm sure we both know that it doesn't. Smile

Stewart,

One thing you may want to consider is to have a search portal on your
page where you offer search bars from pay for search programs like
googles adsense. There are others also. Do a search on pay for search
programs and put a few of those on your site that has free email. You
can make a few bucks a week just from this if you have enough vistors.
