Is there anyway to make Tomcat only avaible to localhost?

The story: I want all requests to go through apache for logging purposes...
I see all requests the moment they are requested in an application... But
this doesn't work if Tomcat is called... So then I have a ProxyPass that
forwards the request to the tomcat port... But ppl CAN still request to
Tomcat by using that port... So, how to stop? Without firewall...

AFAIK not without a firewall.
Use the mod_jk to connect apache to tomcat, so you can call tomcat
trought Apache.

Firewalls are your friends. Firewalls keep out the bad guys. Stop hating
