Post subject: lycos question

Got a friend who registered a domain at lycos. She cant login to renew it
and it expires next month. If she goes to NameCheap and puts in a transfer,
will it move over after 5 days?

usually you can transfer if it is within 30 days. Why can't she log
in to renew it? That's very strange.

She used them for hosting and the register of the domain. The pass works for
the hosting part but it doesnt work on the domain area. She emailed support
a few times with no reply.,<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
