Post subject: logrotate windows problem
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi

I want to rotate logs on a regular basis. Apache 2.0.48 on win2000.

Apache: c:\Programme\Apache Group\Apache2\bin\Apache.exe
Logrotate: c:\Programme\Apache Group\Apache2\bin\rotatelogs.exe

[...]
c:\Programme\Apache Group\Apache2\bin>rotatelogs
Usage: rotatelogs <logfile> <rotation time in seconds> [offset minutes from
UTC]
or <rotation size in megabytes>
Add this:
TransferLog "|rotatelogs /some/where 86400"
[...]

Ok - sounded simple. Now tried to add

1)
TransferLog "|bin\rotatelogs logs\access.log 1"

2)
TransferLog "| c:\Programme\Apache~1\Apache2\bin\rotatelogs
c:\Programme\Apache~1\Apache2\logs\access.log 1"

3)
TransferLog "| c:/Programme/Apache~1\Apache2\bin\rotatelogs
c:\Programme\Apache~1\Apache2\logs\access.log 1"

to my httpd.conf - no luck Sad
Thanks for hints

Bernhard
