Hello all ~

I am running a Win2K SP4 server with IIS 5.0 installed. I
have FP 2002 server extension installed also.
When I go to FrontPage or any other editing software to
edit my web page, I am not being prompt for a
username/password login to edit my webpage. It just
downloads the default page, without any folders.
I've checked all server extension permissions, but I must
be missing something.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
It seems like you have Anonymous access enabled and the IUSR account has
write/modify permissions on the content. If you want to be prompted for
credentials when you are editting using Frontpage, tighten the NTFS
permissions and also disable Anonymous access to the site.

Thanks,
