intranet not working

We have intranet on advance 2000 server with SP4. We have
Asp application running on it. The first page is the
welcome page & 2nd page is the index page, on which we
have links to applications.

Problem : Daily we are facing a problem that intranet
index page is not available, giving the message 'the page
cannot be displayed' & at that time the
Applicaion log has following error

"The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during
its internal processing. HRESULT was 800706BF from line
42 of .\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft
Product Support Services to report this error."

After rebooting the system the problem seems to be
resolved, which is again repeated after some time.

Our applications are asp based.

Kindly suggest solution for this.
