Post subject: inserting a blog
Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

hi

i have a website.
i'd like to install/insert a blog...so the users can share ideas and
viewpoints on the topic of the site.

i'm not much of a webmaster...I just use Frontpage to build and maintain my
site.
now how would I install/insert a blog?

since i'm new, i'm looking for a simple(easy to use and setup) - maybe free
one, if possible

let me know, thanks

You sure? A blog?
Not a portal? a forum? an elist? a chat? an IRC channel? a wiki?
a web-based FAQ maintenance program?

Im not being a smartass. They all have pros and cons depending on how much
time you want to spend keeping it up.

The lack of which are probably the scripts' greatest assets!

Ooh. That looks handy. I might be looking for a forum script soon -- that
one could save me a few hours work.

You can do much worse. IME Grey's scripts are trivial to
install/configure as well as being easy to custimise.

He hee - I did look at that which took me off on another tangent
altogether Smile
