Post subject: iis installed, but i have no iis manager in control panel
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I have installed the iis, but when my manual asks me to
go to my control panel to open up the iis manager in
the 'Administrative Tools' directory of the Control Panel
I don't see it there. Supposedly this IIS manager will
allow me to create virtual directories, and take my first
steps with my new "Visual Studio" on my XP machine. So I
can't seem to get going with this new studio product
until I can get hold of this iis manager.

Thanks to anyone, dw

Do you see something called "Internet Information Services Manager"?

Thank you,

Are you really sure it is installed?
Are you logged on as administrator?
What happens if you type this in Run, and press enter:
%systemroot%\system32\inetsrv\iis.msc

The Internet Information Service Manager opens?
