I am running Mandrake 9.1, Apache2, Php 4.3. In tha manuals they say I
should make a line in httpd.conf, saying "AddType application....."

But I can't find the file anywhere. Anyone knows where to put these lines?

As the owner of the httpd process (root):

ps ax | grep [h]ttpd | head -n1

Have a look about an option -f followed by a filename. This file is your
configurationfile. If there isn't a option -f, type

httpd -V | grep SERVER_CONFIG_FILE

and you get the compile setting. For more informations type

httpd -h
