Ok, my boss just passed this over to me this morning:
http://aitcom.net/content.php?id=310

Now I am totally ignorant when it comes to hosting reseller stuff.
Basically we have a "reseller" discount with the ISP that we deal with.
When we need something (practically anything including upgrading
software versions of apache, php, mysql, etc. in the shared hosting
environment), we send an email, and it's done (usually within 15
minutes). Our price break isn't anything spectacular, but we are able to
make about $7/mo./domain without any work about it (just the paperwork).

Does this look like something that is standard? Anyone have experience
with this company?

TIA!

PS: If your company does this type of stuff, feel free to email me off
list if you think you can help explain things for me. If my boss likes
what he hears, then our company may start doing business with yours.

They are extremely limiting, as to how many domains you can host per
account. We are fairly restrictive, in that regards, compared to alot of
other hosts...but even we offer more.

Also, it looks like you don't have much control over your reseller
account...other than to email them and ask them to make changes. Look
around for a host that offers you a decent, robust, control panel.

You can do better, for less money (who charges a setup fee
anymore?!?)...just don't pay TOO little for TOO much.

Did you see their prices? Way way too high - how can you compete as a
reseller with those?

Also, what they offer is very restrictive - for a reseller.
Recommendation? Look elsewhere if that is your bent.

Remember, sometimes the price you pay is mostly for the packaging Smile<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

any turnkey sites for reselling?, I've seen some sites that people just used a template and have
domain lookup and member login all set up, but the prices are all from a year ago.
Reselling is mainly offered to web developers right now, I just want the provider to
run the sight or atleast provide the files for my stealthhosting.com logo.
