But he only needs 1 GB hard drive space. Dedicated seems like overkill
unless he needs that for security reasons.

I have done the same. In fact, I almost ran an ad in PingZine that
incorrectly stated bandwidth instead of tranfer. Luckily, I caught the
error the day it was going to print and was able to fix the mistake before
it was too late.

I also presume he meant transfer. I dunno any host that offers service in
terms of bandwidth unless it is a dedicated server.

aye - but 100Gb per month is a considerably different proposition to 100Gb
per year or 100Gb per day.
Standards must be maintained ;o)
btw: 'bandwidth' is now part of corporate speak, as in "I'll get back to you
later, I haven't got the bandwidth right now." A surprisingly more accurate
misappropriation of the word than a replacement for transfer/time-frame.
