Post subject: Need help configuring webpages for users...
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am new to IIS and I am trying to set up things so that each user can have
their own webpage off of the main domain. (ie
www.domainname.com/ADusersname )

How do I go about setting this up for each user? Where are their files then
stored? Can they FTP their files to the webserver?

Thanks!

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

Just create directories under the website, which by defaults is
c:\inetpub\wwwroot

You will be able to configure FTP so poeple can copy thier files up also.

Create a page, place it in a folder they have access to and provide
them a means to edit it. If you need separation, use a virtual
directory that points to location only that user has write access to.

Wherever you (or they) put them.

If you configure FTP for them, yes.
