I was just searching google for "free hosting" and an ad for some
website called 50free.com caught my eye. It said "50 mb free web
hosting with php, perl, mysql, ftp & frontpage ext. www.50Free.com".
So basiclly, they were promoting free webhosting with all the stuff
you receive when you signup for payed hosting. I checked it out and
signed up. dunno, sounds too good to be true. Anyone else seen/heard
of this site? Or better yet, anyone signed up there?

Yes, I agree, 500 MB isn't a lot, but on the other hand, there a whole
range of different (usually payed for) services, which is a real plus.
I'm stickin around with them!<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

search for free hosting and then PLEASE tell me where THE HELL did

That's not in google, it's a sponsored listing. My point being it would be
nigh on impossible to get a "real" listing under "free hosting" for such a
small concern.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

ok, but do 50free dick around with your code like Staghosting do?

I would put a text link or a 88*31px button on every page
but I don't want you adding lines of code. Is it standards compliant?
I know that tripod.lycos adds stuff to your page
and it's impossible to validate your HTML if hosted with them.

Staghosting don't "dick around" with anything.

You place the link on one page, where you want it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
