Hello,

I have a website set up right now that works fine when accessed on the LAN
using it's local LAN address. What I'd like to do now is make this website
accessible through the Internet, thus passing through my firewall and having
it work the same. Is there anything I need to do with IIS to get this to
work? I've tried setting up a one-to-one NAT using a public IP address that
redirects to the LAN IP of the machine that IIS is running the website on
with no luck. That works fine on the LAN, but not through the firewall.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried a simple port forward on Port 80 from your Public IP to your
internal machine?

Wouldn't that cause a problem with the other computers on the Internet that
want to surf the web? I believe the port is already forwarded to all
computers on the LAN.

No you will be saying that the PUBLIC IP is allowed through on Port 80 to the
INTERNAL IIS, this will not affect intranet web surfing, what firewall are
you using - I will try and word in its termology if that helps?

sounds like you have a problem with your perimeter firewall not forwarding the ports as it should...

u just need to map incoming port 80 to port 80 of the machine...
