I want to disallow users to see the contents of any directory as a listing
under /webroot, if there is a index.html they should see that when not
specifying any document in the url, if that is not present I want them to
get a "Forbidden" error.

If they enter www.domain.ext/pictures or www.domain.ext/pictures/ they
should see nothing but an error.
How do I arrange that ?

TIA

Change the Options entry in the root directory into -Indexes in the
httpd.conf file.
