Have you got a firewall blocking the external access? Have you allowed
the new app permissions to access the Internet on the port specified?
Does your network have a router that you need to forward web server
requests to which needs to be reconfigured?
What does your Apache error log indicate?
Just some questions without knowing the working environment, but these
are the most common troubleshooting areas for the symptoms that you
are describing.
