Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi all,
I try to install Nagios, the compalation was successful and it seem's
everything works fine. But when I try to enter a function (of Nagios) on
the WebInterface Apache do not execute the CGI (written in C) and just
send me the file.

The system is running the Debian's Woody-
I've never worked with cgi's befor so may be it's a newbe mistake. Any
idea's.

Thanx a lot
Mo

If the cgi is in C must be compiled and the exec bit must be set.
Check your installation and the configuration of your apache. Be sure
you've put the cgis in the cgi-bin dir or the directory have the
+ExecCGI option set.
