Hi,

I am showing an error icon on one of my virtual
directories in IIS manager. Is there some way I can find
out what the error is? I have looked at the log files and
they don't show anything for that directory.

I'll hazard a guess. The folder that corresponds to your virtual =
directory no longer exists.

No, the folder still exists and I can copy, delete, create
new folders etc. One of my users is having problems
copying to that folder, but I using the same username and
password have no problems on my end (different computer).
She is using Windows 2000 Professional as am I. She can
create folders, just not copy into them.

Is this directory located on another computer? This can be benign; especially if an app has put the directory there, such as Project
Central, Exchange, etc., and there service starts before IIS, thus the directory is not accessible when there service starts. Make sure
that the system account has at minimum list permissions on the directory.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
