hi,

my document root is var/www/html but all the files apache is serving
is in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs

whats going on?? on a seperate issue, how can i check if ive installed
2 copies of apache. ie it came with the installation, then i downloded
the binary again!!

last question, ive a dedicate

ps -ef | grep httpd will tell you which httpd is running.
