It's difficult to know where to post this one ...

I have had three customers claim that they have gone directly (i.e. not via
the home page) to various pages on our site and their browsers have crashed.
There is no fancy html or scripting going on so I don't believe we're to
blame. Everything works fine at my end and when I reported this to the web
host, they said it looked fine too. Once is disappointing, twice is a
coincidence but I'm a bit worried now that I have had three complaints.

The page in question this week is www.ricksure.com.au/projects/orlando. In
each case my customers have been using Internet Explorer 6.

I can't believe I'm asking this but could you see if this crashes your
browser and if so, which version you are using?

Could IIS be to blame?

Richard Pearce

I doubt IIS would be to blame unless it's a header thing. have you added
any custom headers?

the page doesn't validate, maybe that would help

Richard

It doesn't crash my browser. IE6 SP1 fully patched
running on Win XP Pro. Maybe check that all the user's
browsers are fully patched. I definitely don't think IIS
could be causing this.

Cheers

Abe
