i have apache v1 and apache v2 installed with suse 9.0. i do
"apachectl start" and it fires up and responds to my remote browser.
Then i do "apachectl stop", then "apache2ctl start" and it fires up.
It doesn't respond to my browser. I try to telnet to it and I get a
connection. I type "GET /index.html HTTP/1.0" and hit enter. It just
hangs. Is this right? netstat before apache2 starts shows nothing
listening on port 80. After apache2 starts it shows the server
listening, so I think it's accepting connections. It's just not doing
anything. Am i doing something wrong?

And, btw, you need TWO enter after the 'get' command.
