Just one cert. Make a request from one machine, and then install it when you get it back from VeriSign. Then, export the certificate (with the private key; it
won't work without the private key) and import it on the other server using the Certificates snap-in. If the private key is not marked exportable, you will HAVE
to get another cert from VeriSign. You might want to tell them that this is for a web farm and the private key has to be marked exportable.

| I have a W2K cluster running IIS 5 and several virtual
| sites. How do I go about getting a verisign certificate.

| internal certificate server and I know these will have to
| be removed to generate the request/s. My question is
| specifically do I need to generate two different requests
| and get two certificates for each node or do they share a
