a bug in IE

This is something that has been killing me for weeks....

This is my results of my testing....

This bug (if it is a bug??) only occurs in IE (I am using 5.5, but havnt
tested other versions).

Just thought you may be interested in this behaviour.

Yeah -- it's odd behaviour, but quite well-known, and not technically
against any spec.
