I'm new to apache. Just got mine running on my Win XP. I don't know
how to do this:

# symbolic links and aliases may be used to point to other locations.

This line is taken from the DocumentRoot section of httpd.conf. Can
anyone give me specific instructions on how to do this?

AFAIK in Windows there are no symlinks, so you can't use that.
Aliases are configured using the alias directive. See the documentation
of Apache.

I go to google.com, write "AFAIK"

all the results but the first are good, and on most of them the
summary on the google page gives you the answer

so i guess it means As Far As I Know

I'm sure you'll be able to do the same thing next time Smile
