alias ../htdocs

I have searched for a thread on redirecting the development code from
.../htdocs to another directory, but haven't been able to find one. Maybe
everyone uses ../htdocs? My initial idea is to create an Alias in the
config file, but I don't want to screw everything up so that is why I am
searching for an answer.

How can I redirect from D:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache/htdocs to:
D:/Windows/Web Tools/..../Website Code?

What you want to do? "development code" ? If you want to use a
different DocumentRoot, just change te DocumentRoot directive
and the related <Directory ...> block.
