Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

I wonder if anyone here can advise me? A while ago I constructed a
website using GoDaddy's 'Website Tonight' package, but it won't appear
properly.

When I type in the domain of my website (www.perfect-grammar.com) in
the URL window, I get the title ('academic proofreading') but only 2 of
the 4 navigation buttons ('Prices' and 'Contact us') appear properly -
the other two just show as red X's with 'Home page' and 'Submitting
your work' in thin black lettering alongside them.

And when I click on any of them, all I get is a page saying
'www.perfect-grammar.com' and below it, 'this page is parked free,
courtesy of GoDaddy.com'.

The rest of this page is sponsored links.

I also get this 'parked free' page if I navigate away from my website
and then return to it.

And a lot of the time, I get this 'parked free' page as soon as I type
in the URL - it's the only thing that ever comes up.

I've tried accessing my site from two sets of computers, and I still
get this.

A few weeks ago, when I told GoDaddy about this, they said it was
probably because I had separate accounts for webspace and domain name,
and that I should merge them together. I got GoDaddy to do that, but it
hasn't helped.

The GoDaddy people respond to my emails very quickly, but what they say
isn't much help - the last message said they'd tried to reproduce my
problem, but everything worked perfectly. And when I emailed them
again, I just got a copy of that reply.

Can anyone suggest what's going wrong here?

Thanks in advance

Dave

The main reason I chose GoDaddy was for their 'Website Tonight'
site-builder, as I've absolutely no idea of how to build a website - I
even found this site-builder difficult to use.

It shows up fine for me, in South west Victoria Australia.
You might be getting a cached version of the page, try clearing out the
cache.
Faileing that, it might be a proxxy cacheing issue, if you use one that
is.
