Hello,
over the last couple of years my hobby site has grown quite rapidly. I'm
really pleased that's it's so popular but I'm not too keen on the bandwidth
bills I'm getting. So reluctantly I've decided to bite the bullet and start
defacing it with banner ads. I read through this group for information and
based on what I found I have signed up so far with fastclick and google's
adsense. After four days I'm averaging $30 / day on 3,000,000 pages -
170,000 uniques / month. Am I in the ball park for income or do I need to
look further into it. If so could someone please suggest any avenues I
should investigate.
Thanks, John >> Stay informed about: New to A.W.W. & need advice |

Depending on the type of site, you might contact your host and ask them if
they would give you a break on hosting fees, if you post an ad for them.
Also, consider advertising for sponsors. That is, charge people/companies
to advertise them on your site.

You might be new, but you don't need to be shy! What's the URL? It would
be interesting to see such a hobby site.

I've placed a 468 x 60 banner at the top of each page.

Reverse moc.cerxob.www (don't want any harvesters).

Great work! I didn't know boxing was so popular!
I got this error on your forums page:
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output
started at /var/www/html/central/header.php:32) in
/var/www/html/central/includes/sessions.php on line 222

Sometimes the forum has a life of its own, I really should integrate it better into the site

I mean what are the ads for? Are they related to your website or are
they just the same old stuff about online casinos and porn (erm, I mean
travel sites)?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: New to A.W.W. & need advice |

The AdSense banners are targeted (but very few different ones) the fastclick are run of the mill.
