Post subject: Why cant i add an isapi extension
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I right click on my virtual directory

go to properties, directory and under application settings go to
configuration.

I then try to add an executable for an extension but keep getting told
invalid file path?? If i put the dll file in the root of c drive and
reference that all is well but one particular directory comes back as
invalid?

anyone seen anything like this?

Does the system have permissions on that directory, and is it a local direcory on that computer? You will also want to add a web
service extension.

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
