Post subject: how to access local page from outside
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hey Guys!
I just set up a webserver ( I think). If i type
myipaddress/mywebsite/index.asp i can view the page, but when I try to do
this from an outside computer, it says page cannot be displayed. Can someone
help me sort out this problem.

What do you mean by "from an outside computer"? FWIW, most broadband ISPs
block port 80 - so if that's your problem, set IIS to run on a different
port.
