ok,
The source of the error is Service control Manager
Event ID 7023
The DEscription
The World Wide Web publishing service terminated with the following error.
The system cannot fine the path specified.
When I go to eventid.net and search the following page is returned
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=7023&source=Service+Control+Manager" target="_blank">http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=7023&source=Service+Control+Manager</a>
When I look at the Knowledge base article
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311625" target="_blank">http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311625</a> which refers
to the problem as I dont have a backup of the metabase I have to reinstall
the service to solve the problem.
I was hoping for an easier way.
thanks for the info
