ALL: When you stop or start an Application Pool in the IIS console for Windows 2003 SP1, why doesn't it write a windows event log entry? I did some digging and I found that you can modify a metadatabase setting "AppPoolRecycleOnDemand" so that a Windows Application Pool entry will be created when the pool is recycled by the Administrator.
