I want to install Apache on my XP system simply as a vehicle to do
some local PHP development. I do NOT intend for Apache to serve anyone
other than my LOCAL machine.

I connect to the internet via a cable connection and my network
connection information says "Obtain DNS Server Address automatically"
and "Obtain IP Address automatically".

The question is how to respond to Apache's initial installation
question for my "Network Domain" and "Server Name". I am pretty sure
my ISP ( COX ) would not want me to have a "Live" web server on
"their" net.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Rod.

The network domain isn't important, just make one up, for ServerName,
use localhost.
