Hi,

I've just built my first webpage.

Check it out:

http://friendpages.com/cgi-bin/public/pages/cover.cgi?pageid=nathanmathers

Wow. That's a scary face. Maybe you should have put a bag over it, or post
a warning or sumthin'. "Lurch meets slack".

And, BTW, "welcome to usenet"

VBEG.

It's cool that you used GuppY ... I just made a site with the same
portal software and announced it in another thread. Little hint: go to
General Options and remove the slogan ... it will get rid of the
scrolling status bar message ... unless you like that sort of thing Sad

BTW, my site is at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.hamsterheaven.com" target="_blank">http://www.hamsterheaven.com</a>
It isn't my first site ... but it's my first GuppY/php site.

Not bad for a first effort Nate, but this is no time to rest on your
laurels. Keep working on it.

The good news is that you do a good job of impersonating Eminem.

The bad news is that Eminem sucks at designing webpages.

Do we know that for sure? Nate isn't Eminem - maybe E-mon has a secretive
artistic side that no-one ever sees. He's already in an artistic field.

He's not much good at marketing mother's day cards, either!

How is he at arranging funerals?

I'm the official Eminem apologist. I admire him. He has the guts to
keep it real and his messege is timeless, gender-less, crossing all
boundaries. When I listen to "cleaning out my closet," I feel a kindred
empathy and that doesn't happen all that often outside my real life.

I've been listening to him before the public knew who slim shady was.
Not by choice, at first ... I've got kids ... but he grew on me and he's
evolving (growing, maturing, healing).

This is probably as controverial a subject as the war in iraq.

war? all that is last weeks news. we're doing "spending patterns in the
high street before christmas" now. no room for war footage. people get
paid a lot of money to make sure news 'breaks' in time for the networks to
pick it up fresh. if the war needs more exposure it would be well advised
to retain Max Clifford or some-such similar bod.
