Try this (DynDNS like)
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://no-ip.info/" target="_blank">http://no-ip.info/</a>
I am using this service for 6 months. My home site is
available to call by name in 5-10 minutes after IP changes.

If you use a service like dyndns.org. There's a good change that your ISP
has port 80 blocked, but I think with dyndns, you can have a redirect setup
with a different port specification.

But realize that if your ISP does have port 80 blocked, that is because they
don't want you hosting a website, regardless of what port you use. So, you
may be in violation of an agreement if you do it.

Hi,

IIS is not dependent on a static ip to be used. But, if your ip changes, and
you must update the DNS-server, it can take a day for this to be changed all
over the world. So hosting a website with a static IP is not the best thing
you can do (but it works).

Will you host the website with a dial-up connection? You know that you must
be online for everyone else to see your website? And the bandwidth is
probably not good enough to host a website. But sure, it works, but it will
not be fast...
