Hi Everyone,

Here is the problem....i setup Remote Desktop Web
Connection in my Home Network and it works fine only in my
Lan using 192.168.1.5 as my Host ip static.

When i try to test the wan connection from my Lan using my
ISP ip i can connect to the Host computer and i get right
the way this error:

"VBScript: Remote Desktop Disconnected

Because of an error in data encryption, this session will
end. Please try connecting to the remote computer again."

I press the ok button and my connection is closed....
no matter how many times i try still the same.

What is weird is that i get this error only when i am
using the wan ip.

I have dsl and use a linksys Nat Router.

I setup Port forwarding to 3389 and my web port changed
from default to my Host win XP.

I checked all my settings in my Nat / Router and i can not
find anything wrong?????? any ideas....

Block WAN Request: Enable i also tried with Disable (same)
Multicast Pass Through: Enable
IPSec Pass Through: Enable
PPTP Pass Through: Enable

I try a lot of different settings combinations but so far
i still get the error when i connect.

Let me know....

Hi,

Are you using the latest firmware for your router? I had that issue as
well, updating the firmware fixed it
