ay, and a URL would be handy as would a spec/brief.
guessing that <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://centurylist.com" target="_blank">http://centurylist.com</a> is the target I can see the need.
shouldn't be too onerous but then again without the brief ...

Hello William,
As I responded to Grey, Thank you for responding so quick. Here's a
brief for our project.
My company's goal is to "freshen up" our site "Hottestontheweb.com"
with a more creative look..
Our short term goal is to change the front page appearance, and to add
a membership sign up type page.
We have a few sites below that have the "jest" of what we would like
the end result to look like. Those are:
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.valuepage.com" target="_blank">www.valuepage.com</a>
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.cappyscove.com/123freebies" target="_blank">www.cappyscove.com/123freebies</a>
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.pricegrabber.com" target="_blank">www.pricegrabber.com</a>
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.cyberperf.com" target="_blank">www.cyberperf.com</a>
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.freeandfun.com" target="_blank">www.freeandfun.com</a>
<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.discount-electronic.com/home.html" target="_blank">www.discount-electronic.com/home.html</a>
Thank you again.
Jaime Alonzo.

No... looking at those sites again, I'm pretty sure he/she meant "jest".

yep
hint to Jaime...your site is currently better than many
that you suggested...I would recommend you actually have
somebody look at search engine optimisation and shift the
mark up to html 4 with css...set that up right and you'll
easily be able to give the whole site a new set of
colours fairly frequently simply by changing one
stylesheet (simply do a find and replace in a decent text
editor on the colours and you can give a new look to an
entire site in thirty seconds or so)
I wouldn't go anywhere near the designs of the sites you
suggested...they are a bit flashier than yours...but most
of them are not nearly as well thought out...several of
them are pretty awful both in usability terms and in SEO
terms...all of them fall down badly in one or the other
I'm not bidding btw...I'm busy until well into next week

This is a joke right? Good one! You should just tell us you're writing
a book called "How to make your site suck even more than your current
site".
Good luck with that.
