I have the W2K Pro server installed on my 2 computer network, and I am confused
about the 10 connection limit. I have heard that some people have trouble using
the personal server for development because of the limit, but I have never had
any trouble.

I ran some tests with 16 instances of a browser, each loading a unique page, on
two computers simultaneously with no problem. I have run pages with almost 200
unique images, also with no problem. I have tried it with keep-alive enabled,
and with keep-alive disabled, always with no problem. So what constitutes a
"connection?" Is it the number of simultaneous requesting domains?

There is no W2K Pro Server. Do you have Windows 2000
Professional, or do you have Windows 2000 Server?

Sorry for the shorthand. I have W2K Professional workstation which comes with a
"lite" version of IIS 5. Among other limitations, it only allows 10 concurrent
connections. That's what I am taliking about.
