I ve created the virtual directory that connects to an UNC path . I can see the directory in the IIS manager. But, when I select an image , file , or anything else to try to view it. I get a 404 error.

Any Ideas ?

404 error means file not found. the file you are looking
for is not in that directory.

The UNC path, needs credentials. These credentials must have read contents
(not only execute) rights. Check if the share rights and the NTFS on the UNC
path are OK...

Success

(ps: more info in the event log).<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
