I'm running Miva 4.16 with OpenUI 4.80. I need to upgrade Miva to
4.20. Does anyone have the upgrade instructions for accomplishing
this? Do I need to upgrade OpenUI as well to their newest 4.887
version? If so, which do I upgrade first?

Check out MIVA Merchant User Group Forums

And you can search the archives at

In the past I have upgraded the MIVA Merchant version and kept the same
version of OpenUI, but I am not using the compiled version of MIVA Merchant,
so I'm not sure if that holds true.

God luck,
Dave

With all the problems I've seen with the compiled version upgrades, I'd
suggest upgrading OUI first, then doing Merchant.

Lots of people seem to get hung up at about 86%, then have to restore
from backup when it hangs on OUI.

miva vs. oscommerce, which has the best backend? - Hi guys, Working on a project were it seems we'll have the option to either use miva or oscommerce for the shop. I've already setup an oscommerce demo and must say I rather like most of it. Only thing I find a bit disappointing is how it handles..
