Post subject: Upgrade 2.0.47 to 2.0.48
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

First time upgrading with built in modules. do I need to add the same
options when I run ./configure as I first installed apache to get php to
work? Or will just running with nothing added to ./configure will it keep
the current settings and built in mods? Running Apache 2.0.47 on RH9.

Yes, and keep the old version around until you're sure that everything
works as supposed.
