Uninstall IIS5

Error from Event Viewer :
"The World Wide Web Publishing Service service hung on
starting."
"The World Wide Web Publishing Service service terminated
with the following error:
An attempt was made to reference a token that does not
exist."

So I tried to reinstall and even uninstalling IIS5 on my
W2K Server but always unsuccessful. I saw this microsoft
article 164147 but it mentioned that applies to IIS2 and
IIS3. I also tried the solution in article 328617 but
still cannot.

Anyone can tell me whether is it safe for me try the
solution given in that article 164147? or anyone has a
better solution?

This error can occur if there is something wrong with the machinekeys
folder.

1. Uninstall IIS
2. Navigate to c:\documentsandsetting\All Users
Profile\Application\Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKey.
3. Delete the machinekey folder
4. Reinstall IIS
