Post subject: The requested URL / was not found on this server.
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I recompiled, and I installed Apache 2.0.50 again, but when i try to
connect to my page, http://www.pianura-online.com, I get this error

Not Found

The requested URL / was not found on this server.

I don't know why this is happening, I modified the httpd.conf file
according the old one I had with apache 2.0.48, but now it is not working.

Any help?

Francesco

The DocumentRoot is pointing to a wrong/inexistent directory or
the permission on such directory are wrong.

I used the same directory with Apache 2.0.48, and it worked fine. Now the
directory is always there, and I don't know why it doesn't work

Are you sure nothing else has changed, either in the config file or the
filesystem? Directory permissions, the user Apache is running as,
permissions in the config of other folders (that the / folder is in) etc.

I have solved that prpble, recompiling Apache again, but now I have
another problem, infact when it loads httpd.conf, it stops, for he doesn't
find libphp4.so
Now I am recompiling php-5.0, but there are problems with mysql. IN the
first step, when I try to execute ./configure with paramaters, the system
tells It is already configured, and I have found the old version of Mysql
is still working, and this gives problems.
