Post subject: Trouble restarting Apache after installing FPSE - missing mod_cgid.so
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I installed the new version of Frontpage Server extensions provided by
http://www.rtr.com/Ready-to-Run_Software/. You have to have the
httpd-devel rpm installed into apache for this to work.

My question is: How can I get mod_cgid.so into this version of the
development package? httpd-devel-2.0.46-26.ent

I am running Red Hat Enterprise Linux ver 2.4.21-9.0.1.ELsmp.
Apparently the development package in RH9 had this but this version is
a step down so I am told by RH.

FPSE needs mod_cgid.so to work.

Any help will be appreciated!

Donna
