Post subject: Tomcat problem
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

Hi there,

I have just installed Tomcat, but I having some difficulties getting it to
work properly.

When trying to start an application from the Web Application Manager I get
the following error:

"FAIL - Application at context path /[application name] could not be
started"

Examining the log files I find this error several times:

SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class
listeners.ContextListener

Any suggestions to what might be causing this error???

Specs:

OS: MS Windows 2003 Standard Server

Java JDK: 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_06-b05)

Tomcat: 5.5.16

Apache: 2.0.55

Thanks

Best regards,

Morten
