Post subject: Tomcat 5.5.4 Admin webapp problem
Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I can't seem to expand the "Service (Catalina)" node of the Tomcat
Administration Tool. When I click on the "O--" icon nothing happens.

My Tomcat is 5.5.4 on Linux. As the "Admin" webapp is no longer included
I downloaded the seperate archive and unpacked it in the appropiate dirs
(admin.xml in conf/Catalina/localhost/, the rest in server/webapps).

When I point my browser to http://localhost:8080/admin/ I get the login
screen. Although everything seems correct, catalina.out reveals this:

Nov 4, 2004 8:50:24 AM org.apache.struts.action.RequestProcessor
processMapping
SEVERE: Invalid path /login was requested

Login seems to go ok: no extra errors in the log but I can't expand or
collaps any of the nodes. Nothing happens but this is in the log:

Nov 4, 2004 8:52:31 AM org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationContext log
INFO: action: Entered TreeControlTestAction:perform()
Nov 4, 2004 8:52:31 AM org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationContext log
INFO: action: Tree expand/contract on

All links to expand or collaps point to
http://localhost:8080/admin/treeControlTest.do?tree=

There must be something missing at the end of the link but I can't guess
what.
Then here's the error before the login...

Anyone has the same problems? Got any solution?
