It is very general question. Nobody can provide a success formula.
However here are some of the steps usually taken for starting & doing
business online.
· Select carefully your products or service
· Register your business with your State.
· Register your domain name, buy hosting space or buy turn-key
solution for accepting payments.
· Open your merchant account,
· Develop your website (professionally looking)
· If needed hire photographer to add quality photo on your website.
· Make arrangement for proper supply of the products or for the
service. Such as buying inventories, sign up dropship agreement, hire
people (if needed) for providing services.
· Add your domain name to major search engines. Most of them provide
free inclusion.
Now you are in Business. But this is just 5% of work to be a
successful business.
While other 95 percent includes:
· Doing good marketing (cost vs benefit)
· Keep your accounting records in good conditions
· Providing excellent customer service
· Keeping your expenses as low as possible.
Best of luck
